We offer our honeymoon registry and wedding website at one of the industries lowest and most competitive package rates.  Read on to find out what a honeymoon registry costs and the process of the registry reimbursement to the couple.  Our rates stay the same regardless to how you book your honeymoon arrangements and we have 3 packages to choose from.  It does not matter if you book your travel with an independent agent, directly with the resort, on your own or with one of our preferred travel agencies.  This gives you the most flexibility to make the best decision possible for you, when booking your honeymoon! 

The Silver Package:

A one time set-up fee of $19.95 and the transaction fee for each gift purchased is 10%.  In this example, if a guest purchases a nights stay at the beach condo for $150, $135 of this will be deposited into your For The Moon account and wait to be paid out to you in check form with no additional fees.  The guest does not see this fee, so when they want to spend $150 on a gift, that is what they will be charged.  The guest will be charged the gift amount only.  The transaction fee mainly covers the credit card transaction expenses we incur directly from the credit card companies for each transaction (about 5%) in addition to maintenance, hosting and managing of your website.  We include 50 registry announcement postcards with this package that you can mail to your guests to let them know about your registry with For The Moon.  Additional postcards can be purchased at a very reasonable price in needed.

The Gold Package:

A one time set-up fee of $39.95 and the transaction fee for each gift purchased is 8%.  In this example, if a guest purchases a nights stay at the beach condo for $150, $138 of this will be deposited into your For The Moon account and wait to be paid out to you in check form with no additional fees.  Again, the guest will be charged the gift amount only.  The transaction fee mainly covers the credit card transaction expenses we incur directly from the credit card companies for each transaction (about 5%) in addition to maintenance, hosting and managing of your website.  We include 50 registry announcement postcards with this package that you can mail to your guests to let them know about your registry with For The Moon.  Additional postcards can be purchased at a very reasonable price in needed.

The Platinum Package:

A one time set-up fee of $74.95 and the transaction fee for each gift purchased is 5%.  In this example, if a guest purchases a nights stay at the beach condo for $150, $142.50 of this will be deposited into your For The Moon account and wait to be paid out to you in check form with no additional fees.  Again, the guest will be charged the gift amount only.  The transaction fee mainly covers the credit card transaction expenses we incur directly from the credit card companies for each transaction (about 5%) in addition to maintenance, hosting and managing of your website.  We include 50 registry announcement postcards with this package that you can mail to your guests to let them know about your registry with For The Moon.  Additional postcards can be purchased at a very reasonable price in needed.

How registry funds are paid to the couple:

The gift funds that are collected through the registry are then paid out in check form to the the couple, generally in two separate payments.  The first payout is usually set to be one week before the wedding or honeymoon departure date.  The second being two weeks after the wedding or departure date to accommodate any last minute gift purchases from wedding guests.  These payout dates are flexible and can be changed by the couple at any time by simply letting us know (up to 4 payout checks).  The registry payout checks are issued for the total amount in the couple's registry account at the time of issuance.  Allowing for the gifted items to be given to the couple in check form, helps to ensure flexibility on the honeymoon vacation.  For example, if they had a helicopter tour purchased for them and the weather does not allow the flight to happen, they can take the money that was going to be spent on the helicopter tour and use it towards something else they would prefer.
